Senior product designer
Barclays bank
I was responsible for delivering high-quality, user-focused solutions for various features within the Barclays bank app and online platform.
End to end, to the middle, to the side, to the end
Managing end-to-end design is rarely as straightforward as moving from A to B. It comes with its share of scope changes, technical challenges, and plenty of problem-solving. My role spanned the entire process—from crafting wireframes and prototypes to conducting user testing, with stakeholder management woven throughout.
Feature discovery
One of my final projects at Barclays focused on reimagining how to better surface new features to users, addressing a lack of engagement.
I took the lead on the project’s direction, overseeing user testing and research to ensure the approach resonated with the audience. By implementing contextual in-app prompts, it made it easier for users to quickly grasp the value of new functionalities. This user-first strategy not only boosted feature adoption rates but also enhanced overall satisfaction, making the app feel more intuitive and tailored to user needs.
I led the design for the Open Banking journey, enabling users to securely connect accounts from other banks to the Barclays app. By creating intuitive flows and interfaces, I simplified a complex process, ensuring seamless integration while prioritizing user trust and accessibility.
Open banking
International payments
I led the design for the International Payments section of online banking, streamlining complex workflows into a user-friendly interface. By focusing on usability and accessibility, I created intuitive solutions that improved user confidence and satisfaction with global transactions.
